I watched a bunch of PLL games this weekend. I didn’t see many players using the flip up mask feature. Still pulling them off in the traditional way, drinking water through the mask.
I edited their latest story and you can see more details of the side of the helmet. It looks like the chin strap buckle is either on the mask or the chin strap is now an internal piece of the helmet. What are yalls thoughts?
Nike has taken over as the uniform provider for the PLL. This shift is drastic from the past PLL jerseys, mostly inspired by football(soccer) uniforms. Numbers on the front and using the City name for Away and the Nickname for Home Jerseys.
Nike looks to be using their standard lacrosse uniform template. I like the shift because the look is more traditional to lacrosse, mainly putting the number on the front instead of the back. I'm glad they were able to convince Rabil and clan to make this change. It is better from a fan perspective, especially for those younger fans who may only know their fav player by number. It's also better for viewing games. In most cases, you may only see the front of the player and have no idea who it is if they don't have a unique body type or hairstyle.
Excited to see what else Nike will do. Curious if they will update the helmet designs as well.
