I’m looking into getting my diamond ring insured but I’m a bit confused. I’ve been comparing a few companies and it’s not super clear to me how they actually treat diamonds when it comes to coverage and claims. Like, do they replace with something truly equivalent or just similar and how much does the appraisal really matter? Would love to hear from anyone who’s been through this how did you decide who was worth going with?
