Help w/white fuzzy patch on oto
Hi everyone,
Any help would be appreciated with my little oto guy here who has a white fuzzy patch on his head. Him and his three tank mates were recently transported during my move and unfortunately the two tank mates could not take the stress so this guy is the lone survivor in my 40gal tank (along with a small neo shrimp colony and an infestation of bladder snails). I saw the white patch a few days ago and thought it might’ve been an injury from the move but today it definitely looks fuzzy and bigger. I’m wondering if there is anything I can do for him in this tank that won’t negatively impact my shrimp? I really don’t want to try and catch him as the move was extremely stressful. My parameters are steady at 0 ammonia 0 nitrites 10-15 nitrates. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
UPDATE: he moved and I got a better picture (in comments) ugh he looks rough. And I’m questioning if “fuzzy” is the right word to use.
