One month update on ART

Been on ART for a month now. Sharing life update

  1. Shifted my night schedule to morning schedule. It give me a free hand in night to be out and not always have to reach for medicine fixed time in night while being out with friends / family or at a party

  2. Working out 4 time a week - is really helping

  3. Slowly it’s being a part of life , feeling normal

  4. Still scared side effects of medicine on kidneys causing a kidney issues

There might be a cure in next 8-10 years?

I met my doctor and when I was discussing long term meds and how my life in the long term going to look like - he said , there might be a cure in next 8-10 years ?
Any research scholars here - who’d have a comment on that ?

Someone I know has recently been diagnosed with HIV .
Now they have been paying their premium for Niva Bupa health insurance for couple of years now.
Their fear is if they get any treatment/ surgery done in future , would the insurance company cover it ?

Is there any expert from Insurance or Niva Bupa , who can guide on this ?
