Need help picking a species
So my whole life I have owned only mammal species, mainly rodents. When I was younger I had an African snail and she was lovely. Recently though, I have been interested in owning a reptile or a frog. I did some light research, and either I’m too picky or I just haven’t found the right species for me. My requirements are :
doesn’t make very loud noises, I currently have two hamsters in my room and I don’t wand the noise affecting them. It doesn’t have to be completely silent just not too loud.
doesn’t eat live food. I’m personally okay with it but I live with my parents and in the past they have expressed concern with having live bugs/worms at home, so I would much prefer if they had a different diet.
doesn’t need a lot of space. I know this narrows it down a lot, but I just don’t have a lot of space to work with. It would be best if the animal needed rather vertical space.
is beginner friendly and not too expensive! I have never owned an animal like this before, so i don’t want a complicated species.
