We’re almost a week into the playoffs and there’s been nothing at all for the playoffs, not even a single moments card. I’m tired of these festivals where you have to spend thousands of dollars for the best cards in the game. Yeah it’s always been expensive to have the best squad possible but this year it’s genuinely just been at another level. The free rewards for NMS players have been terrible, like literally terrible. They dropped a 40 day grind for Rioux who sucks and like 7-8/40 of the cards are useable. Unless you’re a big fan of college hoops in real life there’s no reason to use any of them outside like Yax Peterson and some others. even AFTER the grind the just slapped everyone who grinded in the face with cards infinitely better in every aspect for $100.
I think 2K have realized that some people in this game will spend money regardless and that’s why we’ve seen 3 back to back to back festivals where if you aren’t dropping thousands you can’t even sniff the top players. AK47, Simmons and DRob are all genuinely thousands of real life money. I mean yeah it’s easier to make MT than it’s ever been but what’s the point if MT is useless, all the decent cards that aren’t behind massive paywalls are all super inflated in price because the pack odds are so horrible that nobody is pulling these cards. Cards that wouldve been 200-250k in previous games are now like 500 easily. It’s gotten to the point where the auction house is literally useless. And now the limited cards nonsense???
I don’t know how much longer i can play this game. All the exact reasons I fell in love with this game back in 2k20 are gone and this game mode sucks.
