Newbie looking for an affordable foam Halberd for sparring
Scarborough Renaissance Festival has an activity where you can fight one of their weapon masters and if you beat them, you get their badge. The owner challenged me, I picked halberd and he copied my choice. The best I could do was cut off one of his legs. He killed me three out of three rounds. I survived 20 seconds in total across the three rounds. (My sister timed it)
It was some of the most fun I've ever had.
All I want to do now, is get two halberds and find a willing sparring partner.
r/LARP community- where can I get a quality foam halberd, sturdy enough for sparring? I'm open to unpainted models to save on cost as much as possible.
