Towards the end of last year and going into early this year, hiring actually felt like it was picking up quite a bit. I was seeing more relevant roles pop up, and recruiters were reaching out on LinkedIn more frequently.

But right after CNY, it’s like everything just went completely quiet.

Way fewer job postings, almost no inbound from recruiters, and even ongoing conversations seem to have slowed down or stalled.

Curious if others in Singapore / APAC are seeing the same thing? Is this just a seasonal lull post-CNY, or is something broader going on in the market?
