Roast/Toast my project please!

Looking for feedback on the overall concept and implementation, and if this is something you would use. If it isn't i'd love to know why!

I built tryharness.ai

It's a browser based, screen aware AI assistant that lives in a floating PiP window, so you always have access to your chat.

The main problem I was trying to solve for myself was the overhead of constantly switching tabs and copying + pasting context into ChatGPT or Claude when doing deep work (mostly research) with an AI assistant. I didn't want to have to download something onto my computer, including a chrome extension.

I find it really nice to have the chat available 100% of the time, and the screen awareness makes the conversation with the model richer and more collaborative.

Curious what others think

I built tryharness.ai

Its a totally browser based screen aware AI assistant that lives in a PiP window so you always have access to the chat window, without having to switch back and forth between tabs.

The thing I was trying to solve personally for me is less mental overhead with switching between multiple tabs when doing deep work involving an AI assistant. The screen awareness also makes for better informed conversations.

I've started sharing the idea, and website with some folks, but haven't gotten much back. Curious on what strangers thoughts are, if its something you would use, or if not why.

Thanks!

I built harness AI. A 100% browser based screen aware AI assistant that lives in a PiP window

I built harness which is a screen aware AI assistant whose interface is in a floating PiP window so you always have access to the chat.

No downloading anything required, including browser extensions. Just visit the site, share your screen and start chatting.

I’ve been testing it for a few different use cases including chart analysis for trading, finding mispriced markets on polymarket, a live chess coach, poker coach, blackjack coach etc, playing geoguesser, showing it dense content to make flash cards for studying, and language learning assistant.

If that sounds interesting to you I’d love your thoughts and feedback! I’m super interested to see what others try to do with it!

Right now it’s BYOK so you would need either a Gemini OpenAI or open router api key. Chrome or chrome based browsers only!

I can build anything but I cannot market. Any advice? I will not promote

I have built quite a few apps as a solo dev to varying degrees of success, but have always struggled getting over the hump of a few hundred to a few thousand users.

I just completed a project that I think could have real legs, but don’t want to get stuck in the same loop. How should I approach this.
