Has anyone spayed/neutered a dog that has seizures? How did the surgery and post-op go?

I have a female dog who is about to turn 1 year old, and she has seizures with no known cause. Her current medications are Keppra, gabapentin, phenobarbital, and cannabis oil. The neurologist suggested spaying her so she might be calmer and have fewer seizures, but I’m worried about the surgery. Have you had your dog spayed?
