This is my river status monitor in Home Assistant. I pull the data from the USGS and plot it. The Average river temp is for the 4 rivers closet to the Patapsco, USGS does not have a temp monitor for the Patapsco. Curious what stats do you folks consider before heading out? Does anyone put much weight into the moon phase? Barometric pressure? I know I have had some good days fishing at the start of a storm.
Caught this guy on the fly just north of the Bloede dam, I’ve seen a ton of them in the river, just never hooked one.
