First Grand Seiko (and luxury watch for that matter excluding a vintage omega constellation) and man this is a thing of beauty! Part of me is frankly a little shocked I spent this kind of money on a watch, but damn if the rest of me is not incredibly pleased. Surprisingly I was able to get a good fit with the bracelet despite the lack of micro adjust position. Love to watch that buttery smooth sweep!
If you're looking to build a Date-day on a budget, this kit is incredible. I haven't worked with as many gen Tudor parts as Rolex, but this kit impressed me. I honestly think this is better than the raffles date day set (plus it's a fraction of the cost). Same size crystal as raffles midcase too. What do you guys think?
Received this in the mail today and it's absolutely gorgeous. Ixdao warrior with meteorite dial. Price was a little steep at $475, but honestly I think it's only feels that way because it's a Chinese microbrand... Fit and finish feels good, links are well machined and wears very thin. Good wrist presence, feels bigger than a 37.5 . Will update down the line when Ive worn it more, but I can say this is a better fit and finish than any PRX I've handled. Not to mention if it needs a service down the line, I can just buy a 9015 and swap it out myself.
Hello all!
Looking to sell this datejust build. Gen blue dial with patina, open 6/9 date wheel, vs3135 movement, raffles case + bracelet, Clarks acrylic crystal, engine turned bezel.
Case + bracelet have some wear (shown), but nothing terrible, in my opinion it makes it match the dial more than anything.
Looking to get $700 shipped conus. International shipping at buyers risk and additional expense. Thanks for looking!
I'll wait until I've worn it more to give a more detailed review, but first impression is that the build quality is awesome. Rotor noise from the Miyota is definitely present (which was to be expected I suppose), but the finishing on the case and bracelet is quite good. Very nice looking dial.
