I was hoping I could get some input on supporting my Sons new interest in uploading content. He's 13, and asked if he could start posting gameplay videos to YouTube. I tend to be a bit tech cautious so I agreed on condition that he is not visible in any video, he stays on top of learning at school, and comments are turned off. He has a really gentle heart and trolling would hurt him a lot.
It's mostly short videos of him playing a few games he enjoys like Undertale and Poppy's Playtime, and he has been posting consistently. He doesn't have many natural followers, just immediate family. The content is ok, but I'm not his natural audience so not sure if I can advise on anything.
There is every chance this fizzles out in a year when he moves on to something else as most kids do, but I'd like it to not fizzle out because of disappointment. How can I help him make his channel more interesting and grow?
