I’m a night Linehaul driver at XPO. I pull a set of doubles every night to KC out of Des Moines. The pay is great the lifestyle sucks. We run off a skeleton crew so once I get to KC I have to split my set and then hit the dock to chase freight going bsck to Des Moines. Load up my trailers and hit the road. My start time is 8:30pm and I’m typically back in Des Moines around 9am. Im grateful to be making over 100K a year being so young. But I’ve been looking to get out. I wanna do something with my cdl just not sure what I wanna do tho. I definitely don’t wanna do over the road sounds overrated too. Just looking for advice and wisdoms!
