I've noted while I'm out and about in the North end of Seattle, Edmonds and Kenmore that police vehicles are parked near store entrances just about every night. Safeway, Dollar Tree, etc. Right now I'm parked in a Safeway.parking lot watching 2 police officers search a person that rolled a full shopping cart full of store merchandise.

Edit* They apparently arrested that person, now In handcuffs.

I hope these stores don't go the way of lake city Fred Meyer and close permanently.

Edit #2 The person has been arrested for theft of a very large quantity of over the counter medicines and is in process of being taken to jail. The store is pressing charges.
