I checked that the restaurant was listed on the InKind app and had lunch at the restaurant. When we asked the server they said they have been given instructions by the restaurant management to decline InKind payment specifically and do not have an explanation. The manager of the restaurant refused to accept InKind payment too. They simply held out the card reader and said we had the option of credit card payment or cash payment. When asked about InKind payment they made a vague statement about technical issues and told us that it is not available. I requested them to give it a shot but they simply did not budge.
