Motocamping: NL —> UK - gear feedback

In a few days I’ll be heading towards England for my first motocamping trip. I’ll be driving my Triumph Street Scrambler 900 from the province of Noord Holland to Calais in France. Here I’ll catch the train to England.

Since this is already quite the distance I have to see how I’m feeling upon arriving in England. If I’m still okay ill continue towards my friend in the Cotswolds and otherwise I might pitch the tent there.

Since the Scrambler can’t hold that much luggage I have to cut some corners in gear. I won’t be bringing a chain lock (my friend has one) nor will I be bringing a repair kit (had my bike serviced and checked and will call roadside assistance when needed). I’ve also decided that all my clothes will be in the same color. This way I can wash everything in one go.

Here’s what I’ll be bringing and how I’m planning to distribute my gear. Feel free to leave constructive criticism. There is still some time left for last minute changes if necessary.

Upon my return I will re-evaluate and tweak my checklist so that my next journey (upcoming Summer towards Munich, Austria and Switzerland) might go even better.
