I'm making sweatshirts that feature quilted reverse applique designs. I'm using my fabric scraps and cutting them into 2" x 2" squares. I then arrange the squares into a composition. Then I sew them together to create a quilted piece. Then I sew the pieces on the sweatshirt using the reverse applique technique. I'm doing a front design that features the island motif and elbow patches. I plan to sell these in the Chilmark Flea this summer on Martha's Vineyard. I'm at a loss at to what I should price these at. It takes me about 5 hours to make one. I originally thought $140, but now I'm thinking $225 based on another vendor's items and that it really takes a lot of work to make one. Please give me your thoughts! Thank you!
