Hoi4’s Naval Art Problem
Battleships are some of the coolest things that participated in the Inter War and Second World War Eras.
Battleships ranged in design like the Nelsons with three all forward turrets or the KGV class with two quad turrets etc
Hoi4 uses the same generic icons for all ships so according to Hoi4 HMS Nelson, HMS Iron Duke, HMS Revenge and HMS Hood look the exact same or Scharnhorst looking the same as the Richelieu
However DLCs have remedied this a little with the Soviet Art DLC giving all Soviet ships unique icons (I believe I don’t own it) and the Warships of the Pacific DLC which does give some more ships icons
This goes to show Paradox does think about ship icons.They have updated ship icons for free as well like
Superheavy Battleship Hull: Japan and USSR
1936 Heavy Ship Hull Unique: France(I believe) UK
1940 Heavy Ship Hull Unique Icons: Germany Italy and USA
Not to mention the unique cruiser icons for Italy,France,Germany,USA,Britain and Japan
I would be happy to buy an Axis Ship Pack or Allied Ship pack. Please let me know what you think
