Bassrig Fifteen vs Nobelium

I am in the market for a D.I.-preamp for my setup so I can use IEMs and record without an amp. (Though sometimes I still will use my amp- an Aguilar TH350).

The opportunity has come up to purchase either an OE Bassrig Fifteen or a a Nobelium tube D.I for roughly similar prices on the secondhand market.

What would you do and why?

I run passive Fender P and J basses into a Cali76 and Vintage Microtubes. I play mostly the P with flats and mostly finger style or palm muted pick. I tend to run things pretty flat so don’t need a hugely dynamic EQ.

Cali76 HPF

I recently started using the Cali76.

How do you set your HPF? I can’t hear much difference between all on and all off- maybe with it set on full I can hear a bit more “fullness” to the tone.

Given i am mixing some dry signal in do I need to be using HPF?

Pictured is the setting I’ve most used so far.

What are people finding their most useful settings? I play a p bass with flats, mostly finger style.
