No disrespect to anyone who wrote this song but oh my god, this song has so many sexual undertones and generally just feels weird to listen to. If the songs were being rated fairly, the Fans should’ve won this episode.
Though I’m glad they didn’t because Aiden’s elimination was very deserved.
So… Gabby forgave Natalia, huh?
Remember back in All Stars when Gabby was so upset that Ellie got voted off by Tess for reasons that weren’t even personal? She got very angry and bitter about that, didn't she? She even voted Tess off and acted very smug about doing so. All because Tess made a mistake while trying to help.
But when Natalia actively manipulates Gabby into eliminating Anastasia for completely personal reasons while bringing up her negative history in this show, she immediately forgives her with open arms…
I get that this is meant to show how much Gabby has “grown”, but that concept falls flat on it’s face since she actively gave Dan and Tess zero leeway for their actions against her when they weren’t even malicious and actively screwed over their chances at winning because of it. Natalia’s actions may not have been the most villainous thing ever, but there was still hints of malice in them in how eliminating Anastasia was completely personal on her end and how she brought up Gabby’s ugly history with the show to take advantage of her and vote how she wanted. Gabby forgiving her doesn’t show that she’s “grown”, it only shows that she’s an absolute idiot, pushover, and worst of all, a pathetic hypocrite.
I’ve lost all my patience with Gabby. I tried being less critical and I tried understanding her mindset, but this hypocrisy will not be ignored. She screwed Dan and Tess over just because they upset her in some way by voting for Ellie and while those reasons weren’t terrible, I still think she could’ve handled herself more maturely but suddenly when she has every right to be angry with Natalia, she forgives her with no hesitation.
Gabby’s likely moving down my tier list. I doubt I’ll ever truly dislike her but this was truly the last straw.
And no, I’m not counting the two year timeskip as an excuse for her offscreen “development”. If they wanted to show this, they had the opportunity to do so in Tomjake Season 2, but chose not to.

For me, when it comes to Tess, it’s when they make jokes about her dry vocal range which usually seems like they’re just making her depression more of a stereotype than taking it seriously, anytime she’s demonized for voting Ellie out(thankfully, those moments are rare), and I especially don’t like when they try to make her colder and distant in All Stars.
Jake and Ally being demonized and not being taken seriously when it comes to their mental issues is definitely high up there.
Ellie being a toxic friend towards Tess but not being called out for it is unfortunately a little common in some fics.
