Traditional Bazi: How we decode the "Cosmic DNA" in Hong Kong (Personal insights from a practitioner)

Hi! I’ve been a practitioner of Bazi (The Four Pillars of Destiny) in Hong Kong for many years. While many here focus on Tarot or Western Astrology, I wanted to share a glimpse into how we use the Five Elements to map out a person's life path in the East.

In our tradition, we don’t look at the stars in the sky, but rather the "Elemental Qi" present at the exact moment of birth. Everything is a balance of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.

One of the most common things people ask me in HK is about their "Wealth Element." But what many don't realize is that having a "Wealth Element" in your chart doesn't always mean you'll be rich—it’s about whether your "Day Master" (your core self) is strong enough to "handle" that wealth. It's like having a heavy treasure chest; if you aren't strong enough to lift it, the treasure stays on the ground.

I’m curious to learn from this community: How does your specific divination practice (Tarot, Runes, etc.) handle the concept of "Financial Timing" or "Prosperity"? I’d love to have a cross-cultural conversation.
