Hello everyone,
After spending 17 years in the market and nearly 10 years in options trading (which will complete on 1st August 2026), I can say the journey has been anything but not easy. It has been challenging, humbling, and full of hard lessons.
In the early phase, the market pushed me to the edge, and that’s where I truly began learning. Just when I gained confidence, the market humbled me again. Those phases were tough and often left me feeling helpless but they were also the most valuable teachers.
Over time, I’ve learned a few important things, overconfidence and arrogance have no place in trading. The moment someone believes they have “mastered” the market, the market is ready to prove them wrong. Staying grounded and humble is not optional, it’s necessary to survive here.
One of the most important things I’ve learned in trading especially in options is that you need a reliable partner. It could be a friend, a brother, or your spouse. In my case, my wife played a crucial role. She helped manage funds and ensured capital was allocated where it could generate steady outcomes. It may not make you instantly rich, but it definitely helps in building long-term wealth.
As an options buyer, I’ve also realized the cost isn’t just financial. It takes a toll on mental health and often disconnects you from normal life and society.
Now, I feel it’s time to step away from options trading. I’m planning to transition fully into Forex and MCX in the coming year, with a more balanced approach.
Wishing all of you the very best in your trading journey. Stay disciplined, stay healthy, and most importantly stay profitable.
Good luck to everyone.
