Can AC actually damage your skin over time?

Not talking about major damage 😅 but I’ve noticed more dryness, dullness, and flaky skin during summer even though I’m indoors most of the day.

The only thing that changed is sitting in AC for long hours.

Is this a real thing or am I overthinking it?

Would love to know if anyone else noticed this too.

I’ve been dealing with whiteheads and blackheads, especially on my nose, and they keep coming back even after removing them.

At first I thought it was just dirt, but I realized it’s more about clogged pores, oil, and sometimes overdoing skincare.

What helped me a bit was:

  • using a gentle cleanser
  • not over-washing
  • adding salicylic acid a few times a week

Still figuring it out though.

Has anyone actually managed to reduce them long-term?

I’ve noticed that whenever I’m stressed or not sleeping well, my skin gets dull, I break out more, and even old acne marks look worse.

It’s frustrating because my routine stays the same.

Has anyone figured out how to deal with this?

I’ve been working night shifts recently and noticed my skin getting dull, more breakouts, and dark circles.

Is this common? Does it have something to do with sleep cycle or hormones?

What has helped you guys manage it?
