I’ve only ever seen the theatrical version of this. Looking forward to the longer original miniseries version.
Full details of the release is below for those interested.
THE ULTIMATE IN TERROR!
From Tobe Hooper, director of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Poltergeist, comes the mini-series that scarred a generation. Based on Stephen King’s all-time classic of small town terror, welcome to Salem’s Lot. Population two-thousand and thirteen, but falling fast!
Author Ben Mears (David Soul) returns to the town of Salem’s Lot after 25 years to write about the Marsten House, an old mansion with a bad reputation that has haunted the writer since childhood. But the sleepy town of Ben’s youth is beginning to change. There’s an antiques store about to open, run by the mysterious Richard Straker (James Mason) and his unseen partner Mr. Barlow (Reggie Nalder), and they’re living in the Marsten House. A series of deaths and disappearances leads Ben to believe that a vampire is feeding on the town. But how can he stop them, and will anyone believe him?
With a script by Paul Monash (producer of De Palma’s Carrie, writer of Peyton Place and The Friends of Eddie Coyle) and a superb cast that includes Bonnie Bedelia (Die Hard), Fred Willard (Best in Show), Geoffrey Lewis (Every Which Way But Loose) and Elisha Cook Jr. (The Killing), Tobe Hooper breathes vivid life and chilling un-death into the characters of King’s novel. The children of the night await… in Salem’s Lot.

BOY, HAVE WE GOT A VACATION FOR YOU...
In 1973, novelist-turned-filmmaker Michael Crichton made his directorial debut with Westworld, a groundbreaking fusion of science fiction and action-thriller that would prove decades ahead of its time, laying the groundwork for his later hit Jurassic Park and changing the face of sci-fi.
Welcome to Delos, the futuristic resort where, for $1,000 a day, wealthy vacationers can live out their wildest fantasies in hyper-realistic theme parks. In the Old West zone, friends Peter (Richard Benjamin) and John (James Brolin) saddle up for adventure, unaware that their dream holiday is about to turn into a nightmare. When a malfunction sends the park's android hosts off script, the Gunslinger (Yul Brynner, in his iconic black-clad role) begins a relentless pursuit, obliterating the line between simulation and survival.
Slick, suspenseful, and eerily prescient, Westworld combines a gripping man-versus-machine chase with thought-provoking questions about technology, control, and the price of playing God. Packed with atmosphere and memorable performances, this cult classic remains a landmark in genre cinema - a high-tech nightmare that never loses its bite.

From Frank Henenlotter, the creator of the Basket Case trilogy and Brain Damage, comes Frankenhooker, a sexy horror-comedy twist on the Frankenstein legend.
When Jeffrey Franken’s fiancée (Patty Mullen, Penthouse Magazine’s 1988 “Pet of the Year”) is chopped to pieces by the blades of a remote-controlled lawnmower, he uses his dubious medical knowledge to try to bring her back to life. Using his home-made explosive “Super Crack” to entice beautiful New York City prostitutes, Jeffrey resurrects his beloved Elizabeth using their assorted body parts. Unfortunately for him, Elizabeth’s brain is scrambled and she runs amok on 42nd Street, turning tricks and bringing high-voltage death to her customers!
Starring James Lorinz (King of New York, Street Trash, Last Exit to Brooklyn), the cast of this cult film classic also includes Louise Lasser (TV’s Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman) and Shirley Stoler (The Honeymoon Killers, The Deer Hunter). Synapse Films is proud to present the uncut version of Frankenhooker in an all-new2025 4K Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) restoration, created by Synapse Films, from the archival uncut original 35mm vault materials with a newly remastered 5.1 surround sound mix (original English 2.0 sound mix also included).

Looking forward to watching this one. I’ve heard good things about it.
Just arrived from 88 films.
I first watched this back in the early 90s. It’s a fun movie and worthy of a re watch.
Full details below.
A red-hot murder mystery awaits you in Stripped to Kill, a tale of deadly deeds and even deadlier dancing! Detective Cody Sheehan (Kay Lenz) is a cop who desperately wants to solve the gruesome slayings of local strippers which are all tied to the Rock Bottom dance club. Going undercover, she begins to work at the club, will she be uncovered in more ways than one? This debut feature from Katt Shea, someone who gave the world the equally steamy Poison Ivy in 1992, is a sexploitation thriller that dares to bare as much as it can. Mixing early 80s crime thrillers with as much pole dancing as you can handle, Stripped to Kill is a “psycho on the loose” shocker with a cool late 80s aesthetic.
