Space Radiation Protection - Education and Careers
Curious if anyone is currently working or knows someone whos working in radiation protection for the space program(s). I would like to try to pivot in that direction but its hard to know how to set myself up for a chance when an opportunity comes up since I dont have any experience in that area.
Background: undergrad physics and masters in radiologocal physics. Military vet. Experience in laser and emf safety, emergency response. Currently working in academic medical health physics. **NOT** certified yet.
Currently my only thought is getting the CHP would probably be the primary method (in my control) that would help make me competitive for these positions. Maybe there's some educational opportunities I could look into?
