You can tell Rezz isn't just staying in her mid-tempo comfort zone anymore, and with Joel, she always manages to polish really interesting textures; they have a very natural chemistry. That twist you mentioned sounds much fresher, like they're mixing her dark and heavy atmosphere with a much more dynamic and technical production from deadmau5.
It's cool to see that, even though they already have their own defined style, they're giving themselves permission to experiment and not just deliver "more of the same". If the full track maintains that energy from the video, it's going to be a smash hit at festivals. I'm already super hyped to hear it properly too!"
