I will just preface by saying this IS NOT a post about someone looking for free accommodation, I have a home.

Next year July, I have been made aware that I will have to have an academic pause from my university study for six months due to the way my degree is structured. I wondered if I would be able to maybe housesit/pet sit for those six months, or even a month or two in Queenstown or surrounding areas. This way it is like taking a little holiday rather than wasting half of a year. From what I’ve read on previous posts here, house/pet sitting isn’t common in Queenstown but I thought I would get a feeler of what’s out there, see if maybe someone’s looking for a sitter or knows of a friend. I would be happy to speak with you.
