How to play local multiplayer games through parsec with PTCL.
I haven't been able to find any posts on the web on my specific issue that I faced when trying to play with my friends through parsec so I am making one now. Maybe it helps someone, maybe not.
About 5-6 months ago ptcl flash fiber finally came to my area and I upgraded after 6 years of waiting for it. But I soon realized I could not play with my friends. I played Tekken 8 and other two or three player games (I recommend all of Hazelight studio games to anyone who wants to enjoy the best two player games on this planet) with my friends when I had copper cable.
After extraneous testing and troubleshooting on my end, I learned that PTCL Flash Fiber "Speed Bolt-On" service changes the consumer IP daily (dynamic IP for those who know). So the most easy fix for anyone facing the same issue I faced is to get this service removed from your number.
For Nayatel users, you need to call your ISP and ask them to give you static/dynamic (technically the term is "static IP" for peer-to-peer connection but Alas we live in Pakistan so just say both) IP service and then you can play with your friends as well.
Final note, only 1 person needs to have static IP to play with each other. Basic PTCL connection or Static IP service on Nayatel. I only know of these two ISPs (I have PTCL and my friend has Nayatel). I suppose the rest of the ISPs would work on these same principles.
