Professor hinted she would boost my grade but didn’t actually boost it
I finished the class with a 79.09 and I asked my professor if she would consider boosting it and/ or if I could have a chance to review my grade with her and she responded with “On my end, u should be fine. Don’t worry about it too much”
This made me think that she was going to boost my grade to an 80 but I just checked my grades and it’s at a B+… is there a chance she forgot to boost it? Should I email her again to ask? I don’t want to be annoying but by her message back I genuinely can’t tell if she meant like “you’ll be fine if you don’t get an A” or “you’ll be fine on my end I’ll add the point” it was bit of a cryptic message so I’m not sure how to interpret it.
Do you guys think her message meant she was going to boost it? Or do you think she was basically telling me to forget abt it.
Edit: Okay update! She said that she rounded all the grades for the assignments and said that people who were “ just on the edge” were able to be rounded up so I guess I was just short a couple points to be able to get it fully rounded up to an A-. Honestly she was really nice about clarifying it with me so that made me feel better even if I didn’t get the outcome I wanted.
