Hello community, I have recently purchased my first project car! This is my ‘83 944 and unfortunately I have fount some pretty rough scoring in all 4 cylinders. My first question; is something like this worth saving or would I be better off swapping for a small block LS? I definitely plan on pulling it and tearing it down to see the extent of the damage but I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money trying to get it bored out when I can just put something with more power in there and have MORE fun. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻
