GT 26 Fall regular transfer decisions are expected May 15 for non-pathway applicants. My current school's summer late add deadline is May 13, which is two days before.

I have two summer courses that GT's transfer equivalency table explicitly lists as non-transferable. Keeping them if I get admitted means nearly $7,000 in tuition for credits I can't use. Dropping them now and not getting in means I'm behind on required coursework at my current institution if I fail to transfer.

How would you handle this dilemma? Are there any portal myth signals or other ways to get a read on your decision 1-2 days before the official release?

I applied for Fall 2026 regular transfer, and my portal says decisions come out May 15. My spring grades should be posted around May 6.

If my GPA stays about the same (or a little bit higher) as last semester, is it still worth sending an updated transcript to admissions? Or would it probably be too late to matter by then?
