Best robot lawn mower in 2026?
I considered getting one in 2025 but I was tight on money and I was a bit shocked by the pricing on these. It's been a year and I'm curious if maybe new robot lawn mower models were released and what you've used in the past and how it's been working during this time.
When I looked at these in 2025, most of the good ones were $3000+ which felt like a huge investment. I'm hoping that either prices have come down or newer models offer better value now. I also was following a few Kickstarter projects but I felt to risky to pledge. Have there been any significant releases or improvements in 2026 that make robot mowers more affordable or better performing? For those who bought robot mowers in the past year or two, which model did you go with and how has it held up? Are you still happy with it or have you run into issues? I'm especially curious about reliability over time since these are expensive machines I'd be leaving outside constantly.
