What are bathrooms like in dorms?

Title basically. Incoming freshman at UW Madison and I'm choosing dorms right now. What are the bathrooms like in Ogg, Smith, Dejope, Waters, Chadbourne? Specifically, how tall the stalls are, how mayn stalls there are per bathroom, does it get crowded in the bathrooms, anything else i should keep in mind.

laundry in dorms

im an incoming freshman at uw madison and most dorms have laundry. do i need to pay to use these laundry machines or is it included with the money you pay to stay in a dorm?

does liz waters have a bug problem

im an incoming freshman at uw madison and i was just reading about bug problems at the liz waters residence hall. but a lot of those posts were made years ago. is this still a problem? it's one of my top choices as of now, so i'd like to know if that would affect my experience a lot. thanks!

lakeshore vs southeast dorms

hey! im an incoming freshman at uw madison this fall and im trying to decide between lakeshore and southeast dorms.

im planning to study mechanical engineering, and i know lakeshore is closer to the engineering building, which seems like a plus, but im not sure how much that actually matters for freshman classes.

im really drawn to lakeshore because of the lake and overall environment, but im a bit concerned about the commute in winter and how practical it is for getting to classes.

im looking for a balance between being social and being focused. ive heard southeast dorms are more central and social, while lakeshore is more peaceful/quiet.

how big of a deal is proximity to dining halls and classes? and do buses have stops close to lakeshore dorms for easier commute in the winter?

would really appreciate any insight, especially from people who’ve lived in either area
