Capstone experience

Completed medboard about 2 months dd214 should get to me any day now. I’m having lots of trouble getting the template or whatever is needed to complete the capstone. I have completed taps class virtually have certs but I cannot get in contact with a career counselor to complete it, I have left many voicemails and visited them in person also but they are always closed. I’m away from command and will not be seeing them when I separate.

If anyone has completed and knows what to do it would be appreciated if you could help me out.

I’m getting out of the service in about two months and trying to figure out my next move. I really want to make the most of my Post-9/11 GI Bill, possibly through VR&E, but I’ve come to realize that traditional school probably isn’t the right path for me. I don’t want to waste the benefits if I’m not fully committed to that route.
I was a Construction Electrician (CE) in the Navy, and I actually enjoyed the work. Right now, I’m leaning toward joining a union apprenticeship when I get out—mainly for the long-term stability, pension, and because it aligns with what I already have experience in.
My plan is to use Helmets to Hardhats to help line up a job specifically with ibew and, if possible, combine that with VR&E to still get the housing allowance (BAH).
For anyone who’s been in a similar situation:
Is this a realistic plan?
Has anyone successfully used VR&E while in a union apprenticeship?
What are my chances of landing an apprenticeship through Helmets to Hardhats or similar programs?
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated.

Deciding on going to community college and using V&RE p-911. What are the chances of me being able to attend an out of state community college, The state next door has significantly higher bah rate than my state. It will be about a 2 hour drive to the college from my home. My plan is to go full time and take mainly online classes but attend in person 1-2 times a week. I am not looking to use college to my advantage but I want to capitalize off of my gi bill because the bah rate is so significant. Anyways any advice experience shoot it my way!
