My boyfriend grinds his teeth in his sleep, help!!
Hi I just wanted to start this off by saying i’ve never posted in this sub before so I do apologize if this isn’t the right place to ask!! But my boyfriend and I have been dating for about a year and when we first got together and would spend the night together I noticed he would clench his jaw really tight and grind his teeth together in his sleep. I usually tried to lightly massage his jaw to try and get him to slightly relax without waking him up and that sometimes got him to stop for a little bit! The last couple months I haven’t been hearing it but the past couple days i’ve noticed he’s started up again ( i think because of stress? he’s having a hard time right now ). I want to stress that I really don’t mind the sound or feeling myself at all but I would love to help him in anyway I possibly could! If anyone has some advice i’d really appreciate it, i’ve brought up a mouth guard but i think he’s too embarrassed to actually get one. I’m gonna try to convince him more that i obviously wouldn’t care at all but, any suggestions?
