3dmark issues on asus tuf laptop
i just got 3dmark at a 75% sale on epic games store and wanted to dial in my desktop cuz it fel a it sluggish on some titles and after a bit i wanted to compare it to my asus tuf dash f15 laptop, but ive run into and issue where it wont parse all the info from the laptop which isnt out of the odinary given the bio for this laptop is exceedingly difficult to use and u cant change anything on it which ig is normal for a budget laptop.
laptop specs-
processor-11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11370H @ 3.30GHz (3.30 GHz)
gpu- nvidia geforce RTX 3060 laptop gpu
Ram- 24gb ddr5 3200mt i think
1x 500gb nvme
1x 1tb nvme
----------------------------------------------------------------
Desktop specs
amd ryzen 7 2700 non x cpu
Gpu- evga 2080super xc ultra gaming 8gb
Ram- corsair vengence 2x16gb 2400mt ddr4 ram
1x 500gb ssd boot drive
1x 2tb hdd
1x 7tb hdd sea gate game drive
1 open nvme slot
Monitor- 4k westinghouse tv yes ik this may be some of my performance issue but i cant afford a good monitor and atm i dont have a desk setup to work a monitor.
----------------------------------------------------------------
i didnt know that the desktop would have such a massive gap in performance compared to the laptop given the laptop will run some games far better than the desktop will. does anyone else have issues with these asus tuf dash laptops and 3dmark not working well with each other.
Should i upgrade my current desktop pc cpu and ram and storage or should i save up for a totally new pc minus a case ig cuz mines big enough but idk what to do and atm its just all crazy expensive for some stuff like ddr5 ram and newer gpus are crazy atm. should i transfer a nvme from my laptop to my desktop so i have a faster drive but that would make my laptop almost useless cuz its got shit storage?
