Working on moving down with my whippet- he gets his front end down right away (bows) but takes a long time to fold the rest down. We have been doing stand to lay "push up" reps but no improvement on speed.

Any other tricks or tips? Or just hope that sign isn't picked? 🤣

6m old. He is a bit skinner than I would like for performance and also skinnier than ideal for show weight. He runs 5 hrs a day in the backyard playing so that doesn't help.

He is maxed out on Proplan Sport 30/20 Salmon and rice Kibble (534 cal/cup) that he will eat. Toppers...sort of will eat, though he often walks away and lets the other dog eat them and he will finish up the kibble below them. I use Stella and Chewy's magic dust and switch between Dyne and Bully Max high cal liquid supplements. He isn't a huge fan of canned food and even meat or eggs he eats slowly and won't always finish.

Otherwise healthy/no gut signs, just running off the calories.

Other ideas to get him to gain weight? Maybe some super high calorie training treats or chews?

Or just give up and wait until he is mature and able to hold the weight? I did that with my now adult, but he wasn't a confo dog.
