16 kids shot in DC in four months, 3 killed in two weeks
At what point do we wake up and start valuing life again?
They said most of the victims have been in their 20s. Young people with dreams, families, and futures that never got the chance to fully live. Every week it’s another candlelight vigil, another grieving mother, another 💔 post. This can’t keep being normal.
I miss when our communities fought together for something bigger than ourselves. I want to see another Black Wall Street rise. I want to see movements like the Black Panther Party, Pride Inc., and the Rainbow Coalition bring people together again to protect, build, educate, and uplift our hoods. If DC ever truly came together as one, how could we be stopped?
