Fullerton's Mascot!
Do you know about Fullerton's (unofficial) mascot, Pothole Petey? He wears an orange slice hat that represents the county's history of citrus groves, and carries a diploma, symbolizing the numerous colleges within the city, but he's most proud of the city council members (particularly the Bushala Bloc) for helping him and his many friends and family grow larger every day. My wife and I came up with him on our way home from a trip to Japan, where most of their cities have mascots. The first thing that came to mind when thinking of our own city was a pothole. You may have seen us at past Fullerton Night Markets selling stickers and prints of Pothole Petey.
