Before and after lipo, Le rose clinic
I’ve been on this sub for a bit to get some info and finally sharing my before and after since I actually relied a lot here on this sub.
This was actually my first surgery, I haven't got anything like an actual actual surgery, so I was nervous going into it. I kept overthinking everything beforehand, especially since I was doing it overseas in Korea.
I went to Le Rose Clinic in Seoul for arm and back liposuction. My main concern wasn’t becoming super skinny, but more about improving the overall body balance and the shape that actually look natural. I felt like if only my arms got slimmer without touching the back area, it might end up looking a bit disproportionate, so I asked them to contour both areas together to look more natural.
One thing I appreciated was that the staff and surgeon were very calming throughout the process. I was honestly pretty anxious before surgery, but at least they kept reassuring me and explaining things carefully which helped a lot.
The surgery itself felt surprisingly fast because once the anesthesia kicked in, I basically just closed my eyes and woke up with everything done.
The first few days after surgery were definitely the hardest part. I had quite a bit of swelling and bruising initially, and right after waking up from anesthesia I felt really cold and nauseous for a while. That part honestly sucked a bit.. well.. now that I say, actually not just a bit lol. Thankfully after resting at the hotel for a few hours, I felt much better and was even able to walk around Seoul later that night.
One small issue I had was during consultation. There was an interpreter available so communication overall wasn’t difficult, but sometimes the coordinator would explain things in Korean for quite a long time while the translated version felt much shorter and simplified. There were moments where I wondered if everything was being fully translated properly. Still, they seemed to understand the body line I wanted pretty quickly, so overall it worked out okay.
Now that some swelling has gone down, I can already see the lines starting to come through, especially around the back and arm connection area. It doesn’t look overdone which I personally like. I wanted a softer and more natural result rather than an aggressive removal.
Overall, I’d say the recovery process was more annoying than painful. Compression garments, swelling, sleeping carefully, all of that gets tiring. But looking at the progress so far, I’m honestly happy I went through with it.
