Just started scheduling interviews. I’ve been a swe for 5 years and am technical lead of my team. I’m full stack. But when I’m looking at these invites for interviews (mid-late stage private AI companies), they have implementation rounds which scare me.

Maybe I’m just worried because I’m afraid of the realization that I wasn’t doing much impactful work at my job (mostly CRUD). Leetcode interviews seem easier to manage - at least I know what I’m signing up for. With these implementation interviews, the problem space seems infinite.

Did others feel this way before starting interview prep?
