hey!! me and my friend are building a big shared list of NYC/LI spots (cafes, restaurants, parks, museums, etc). I don’t post on Reddit but we want to find more people from different areas and build a bigger list.

making friends at CUNY is kinda hard since everyone just goes to class and leaves 😭 so we wanted to make something that helps people actually explore the city + meet others. Instead of scrolling forever trying to find spots, you can just open the map and have a bunch of good places already saved, whether it’s somewhere to study, eat, or just chill in between classes

We’re hoping it turns into more of a community, and if enough people join we’d love to plan group hangouts + actually meet people

the idea is instead of scrolling online trying to find the best places, you can just open the map and they’re already all in one place, like a big community guide. if anyone wants to find spots or contribute, feel free to dm me for the link + you can also invite friends :)

We’re trying to build community + make something everyone can use for summer plans. if enough people join (20-30+) we plan to arrange big hangouts and make new friends!! (especially if you’re in your early 20s)
