I finally stopped Just in Case hoarding with a 30-day Probation Box system
Hey all, I’ve been struggling with inventory anxiety keeping things because what if I need it in 6 months?
I started a manual system. Every night at 8 PM, I find one item I didn't use. I take a photo of it, put it in a box in the garage, and set a 30-day reminder on my phone. If I don't rescue it in 30 days, I HAVE to donate it.
So far, I've vanished 12 items and only rescued one. Has anyone else tried a timeout for their stuff? What happens if you forget what's in the box?
