• Inglés B1–B2 (importante)
• Buen manejo de Excel
• Experiencia en servicio al cliente, análisis de datos, o ambos

💼 Condiciones:

• 💰 Salario: $3’000.000 – $4’000.000 (según experiencia y entrevista)
• Modalidad híbrida 🏠🏢
  • Inicio: 2 días en casa
  • A los 9 meses: 3 días en casa
• Buen ambiente laboral
• Contrato a termino indefinido
• Prestaciones + medicina prepagada

🧠 ¿Qué se hace? (en simple):

• Reuniones con clientes (no call center)
• Manejo y limpieza de bases de datos
• Generación de reportes
• Organización/categorización de productos

👉 No es un rol imposible: si tienes bases, acá aprendes bastante.

There’s something I can’t stop thinking about lately.

The topic of having children as a Jehovah’s Witness.

When I was still in, it was never a strict rule… but there was always this underlying idea:

“we’re living in the last days”
“this isn’t the time to start a family”
“focus on spiritual things”

I also remember biblical examples being used, like Jeremiah, to suggest not building a family during difficult times.

And if you actually look at publications (JW Borg), this wasn’t just in people’s heads.

For example, one article mentions that “many couples choose not to have children so they can focus more fully on the work”  

And more recent material talks about planning the number of children based on circumstances  

So it’s not a rule… but there is definitely a pattern.

Now here’s the part that made me think.

At the exact same time this was being framed as a spiritual mindset… the same thing was happening globally.

Birth rates have been declining almost everywhere.

Fewer people having kids.
More people delaying it or choosing not to have them.

And for reasons that sound very familiar:

economic pressure
uncertainty about the future
cultural changes
personal goals

So the question becomes a bit uncomfortable.

How much of that “spiritual advice” was actually unique… and how much of it was just mirroring a global trend?

Because inside, it feels like a distinct way of life.

But when you step back… it often looks very similar to what everyone else is doing.

And honestly, this isn’t the only area where that happens.

Over time, you start noticing that Jehovah’s Witnesses resemble the outside world more than they think:

They criticize certain behaviors… but sometimes do similar things.
They claim to stay separate… but still have strong opinions.
They talk about being different… but many choices end up aligning with broader society.

The topic of having children is just one clear example.

Also, something interesting: I don’t really see this emphasized as much as before. It feels less present in recent discussions.

Like the narrative has shifted a bit.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed that.
