I Remade milliondollarhomepage.com here's what happened

Back in 2005, Alex Tew sold a million pixels for $1 each and made internet history. I was probably in school when it happened, but when I stumbled across the story recently I couldn't stop thinking about it what would that look like today? So I built it. dollartiles.com is my modern take: instead of pixels, you buy tiles. Each tile is yours put your link, your logo, your brand, whatever you want. The grid fills up as people claim spots, and the whole thing becomes a living snapshot of the internet right now. I've been building it solo for a while and it finally feels ready to share. Would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think or grab a tile.
