Anyone else get immediate nasal relief from chewing raw ginger?

Whenever I eat raw ginger - not powdered, not in tea, nothing aside from the raw root - my nose gets temporarily relief, it feels like the polyps shrink.

The weird thing is this, it only feels like it's shrinking whilst i'm eating the ginger. Once it's digested, the effect lingers on but not as long.

Whilst the ginger is being chewed in my mouth, i really do feel significant relief in my nose. Please can other people try this so we can see if there's a pattern here!

Hi there, just wondering

Does anyone else also have apnea as a result of nasal polyps (in my case, specifically non-allergic rhinitis)?

Basically the turbinates in my nose are swollen and I suspect it's due to inflammation coming from somewhere. This is the source of my apnea as i'm only breathing from one nose.

I've tried nasal rinse but my nose is so blocked that it doesn't even go through.

Currently on steroid nasal sprays that don't work.

Hi all!

I've recently been applying to tech companies for jobs in account management as an AM.

The problem?

In my last 3 interviews, which included 6-7 stages of:

  1. speaking with different team members
  2. doing work (account management) exercises to text my ability,
  3. doing an online IQ and cultural fit test
  4. meeting hiring managers in-person
  5. speaking with the VP

By the end of the entire process, I got ghosted by the recruiters and hiring managers. I tried following up a few times with different members but no one responded.

I understand recruiters probably run interviews with 1000s of different candidates but is there a way I can ask for or approach future recruiters so I can get some feedback at the end?

I'd like the feedback because it helps me understand if I'm doing something wrong, if I'm applying above my league or anything like that.

Or am I simply being a bit immature by asking for too much? I'm relatively young in my career so I can understand if I'm coming off as bratty!

Thank you
