Anyone else feel like Etsy mockups all look the same lately?

I’ve been noticing more listings blending together—especially with tools like Placeit where a lot of sellers are using the exact same scenes.

I run a small POD shop and it started bothering me because it feels harder to stand out when everything looks identical.

So I started experimenting with generating more unique lifestyle mockups instead of using templates, and it’s been interesting seeing how much variation you can get.

Curious what others are doing:

• Are you sticking with standard mockups?
• Have you tried creating your own or using AI?
• Do you think buyers actually notice the difference?
