The Backpod making the rib pain travel around. Is this normal?

I've been using the backpod and it does seem to be helping but it's changing the location of my rib pain. Some areas are more inflamed than others now that I'm loosening it up at the spine. The pain has traveled more to under the armpits and my sides. The ribs become tender in other areas as well.

Is this normal?

Stretches and Exercises that have helped in your recovery

Hey all

I've been dealing with Costochondritis for over a year and a half now. After seeing numerous doctors and PTs, I've finally figured some stuff out on my own from this sub and YT.

I've been working on stretching and exercises for 4 months... sometimes helpful and other days, not so much. I do realize we have invaluable information all over this sub in addition to our backpods etc but, more context in one spot would be so extremely helpful.

For those of you who are recovered or like 90% there; what stretches and exercises have gotten you there? Can you please name them specifically and explain what you've been doing that has helped you? I realize they may not work for everyone, but understanding what helped get you to where you are would be amazing for the rest of us. Thank you in advance!!
