Yesterday I was let go from my job due to poor work performance, even though I truly tried my best. Today I submitted a few job applications, and tomorrow, after dropping off my 4‑year‑old daughter, I plan to clean my house and reset a bit. On Thursday, after drop‑off, I’ll be attending a training program that supports neurodivergent people like me. I have ADHD, and I know I’m more likely to struggle with job stability compared to my neurotypical peers. With my last job, it felt like I took on more than I could realistically manage.
